Biography

My name is Darren Greer, I've been trimming and shoeing horses in the Casper, Wyoming area for about 10  years and recently attained certification from the American Farrier Association

I am a Navy veteran, serving on board the USS Midway during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield.  I have 5 grandchildren that take up most of my free time with volunteering for 4H events, school, and Cub Scouts.   I am a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and am the Casper chapter commander of the Disabled American Veterans.

I've been married to Kay for 19 years, and would not trade it for anything.

I graduated the Professional Horseshoeing Course at Oklahoma Horseshoeing School, and I have an Associates of Applied Science in Manufacturing Technology and an Associates of Applied Science in Animal Science as well as a Certificate in Equine Assisted Therapy.

My true passion is teaching and spreading knowledge that would otherwise be lost.  I have assisted teaching at Casper College, and I teach troubled teens at the Triangle Cross Ranch in Cody, Wyoming.

I have been blessed with the best client base I could have ever hoped for.  I am thankful for all of the blessings over the course of my life,  and look forward to  continued blessings from here out.
